Scrapstore Description
Under the SAMS umbrella, there are various projects
that benefit the local community with our scrapstore
at the heart of the activities. We are committed to
contributing to the communities in which we operate,
and we aim to build long term relationships with
likeminded local community organisations to
support and add value to good local causes or to
help resolve problems in the community. A better
community eventually leads to less crime, less social
disorder and a better environment for us all.
Our scrapstore is an Aladdins Cave of goodies.
Surplus objects are collected, displayed and
offered in a sort of emporium or ‘warehouse
of wonders’. SAMS brings together public
and private organisations with a common
aim of raising recycling and environmental
awareness and actively encourages recycling
within the local business community. With
the assistance and support of our dedicated
team of volunteers our not for profit social
enterprise is a thriving hub of activity.
