ScrapstoresUK Film On TV

Hope you can tune into the Community Channel on Wednesday night at 18h30 to catch our film. It will be replayed again over the coming weeks if you have missed it or you will be able to view it on the Community Channel website.

We have tried hard to ensure that the film captures some of the people who use, work and volunteer with scrapstores. It also features the scrap itself and some small people enjoying an activity workshop using scrap materials.

One of the aims was to explain that it costs money to run a scrapstore and that most scrapstores need people to purchase membership and/or the scrap materials.

We hope it will also help businesses to understand a bit more about how they can work with us.

Hopefully we'll be able to add to this film by doing some filming at other locations over the coming year. So do let us know if you are doing something interesting that could be featured.

I was really looking forward to watching this and thought i had set the Sky + to record it and realised in horror that i hadn't at 7pm!

Are there any details possibly of when this will be repeated?!
