Registering for 'lower tier' waste status

Consider this a lower tech 'Re-Tweet' of sorts...!

Kathy from CLOWNS scrapstore in Minehead sent me the following information which I think will be extremely useful for anyone going through the process of getting themselves registered with the Environment Agency as a lower tier waste carrier...thingy.

"Managed to speak to someone at Environment Agency and they talked me through how to find the correct form!

So here goes:-

1. Click on top left environment agency logo and it takes you to a page with a blue heading saying Business & Industry
2. Click on Waste carriers, brokers and dealers
3. On left hand side of next page 2nd bullet point “Register as a waste carrier, broker or dealer”
4. Scroll down to almost the bottom Register online – register in the lower tier
5. If your company address cannot be found you have to do it by post.

This information may be good to pass on to other poor people who are finding the environment agency website hard work!"
