Topic-icon Setting a Timex Chronograph with INDIGLO

8 months 1 week ago #1934 by katana29
Hi! I have a Timex with a chronograph function and INDIGLO backlight, but today I noticed a problem: when I try to measure time, the hands freeze or get lost. The backlight works, but the stopwatch does not. I tried to reset the indicators manually, but without success. Maybe someone has encountered such a problem? I would appreciate any advice and help!

If you have a Timex watch with a chronograph function and INDIGLO backlight, it is important to reset and use these features correctly so that everything works without failures. For example, to reset the chronograph hands, it is recommended to pull the crown to the "B" or "C" position and, if necessary, press the corresponding buttons, following the sequence described in theTimex instructions. The INDIGLO function allows the backlight to illuminate the entire dial, and when Night-Mode® is activated, the backlight stays on for up to 8 hours - convenient in a dark room Timex. I personally recommend referring to the official Timex manual at  manuals.online/timex   - there you will find detailed steps on setting the time, calibrating the chronograph and controlling the backlight. Following it, you can avoid mistakes and maintain the accuracy of the device. Even basic operations, such as resetting the chronograph hands, are best carried out according to the manual - this is the most effective and gentle on the watch.

Timex watches with a chronograph function and INDIGLO technology offer ease of use in any conditions. The chronograph measures time with an accuracy of 1/20 of a second, and the INDIGLO backlight evenly illuminates the dial when pressed, which is convenient in the dark Timex Models with Night-Mode® function can keep the backlight on for up to eight hours.
