My car is a 2015 model, so it's not new anymore, but I plan on keeping it for a few more years at least. Lately, I've noticed the paint doesn't have that same depth it used to, and under the sun, you can see lots of those fine spider web scratches. The interior is generally clean because I vacuum it, but the leather on the driver's seat is looking a bit worn and there's some discoloration on the plastic trim on the doors. I'm wondering if spending money on a proper detail at this stage would actually make a noticeable difference, or if it's just polishing a turd as they say. I'm not looking to make it perfect, but I would like it to look cared for. I'd really appreciate some  helpful auto care advice  from people who've detailed an older vehicle. Did a paint correction and interior deep clean bring back some life and make it feel newer, or is it something you only really appreciate on a brand new car? Also, if I do go for it, are there specific things like an undercarriage wash or engine bay cleaning that are more important for an older car to prevent future issues, or should I just focus on the cosmetic stuff to make it look better for now?
