Topic-icon Preparing Goods After Transport

Has anyone encountered a situation where goods arrive in mixed boxes or on damaged pallets after transport? This is especially problematic when products need to be quickly shipped on to customers or stores. Are there warehouses that can inspect and prepare such shipments?

Yes, logistics centers often provide additional cargo handling services. Warehouse staff can unpack pallets, inspect boxes, sort products, replace packaging, or assemble new pallets according to the carrier’s or retailer’s requirements. This helps avoid delays and issues with receiving goods. One example of this approach is the rework freight service, where specialists inspect, repackage, and prepare cargo for the next stage of delivery.
