Has anyone corresponded with their MP recently about scrapstores? Because we cover all Norfolk I am told all 7 MP's won't answer( I wrote to them all), but my own MP will.
Fingers crossed that I can get her support in Parliament!

Hi there
Maybe if you gave pre wirtten letters to members they would live in the different consituencies so their MP's would listen?
I would be interested in there being a pro-forma letter which could be used nationally if we all sent off and asked members to send off too :)
What is it you are asking your MP to do jim? generally support scrapstores or something more specific?

Afternoon Claire.Basically trying to get them aware of what is happening on their doorstep, and appreciating that C&I waste is very often re-usable and the lifeblood of many a community group, because of it's variety and low cost.
We are getting older and our lease runs out in August 2013, and we don't want all our hard work in building up support for re-use to be wasted. An ideal solution might be for the District councils to jointly fund staffing, but Central Government has to realise that business waste is more important due to it's quantity and make statutory legislation allowing districts to collect it for re-ise ..at no cost to the businesses(who pay a lot in rates).
