Just to clarify that as you are a sole trader you will not be covered by the scrapstores Low Risk Waste Protocol nor would you qualify under the Lower Tier.

This means that you will need to pay for a waste licence as a waste carrier and to store waste.

You will need to comply with Duty of Care regulations and guidance and to complete waste transfer notes for each collection you make. Keep all records for 2 years and ensure that you complete the forms correctly and carry your waste licence when collecting. Failure to do these things can result in a minimum fine of £300.
