Hi All,

Just to clarify we will holding a meeting next week with Children's Scrapstore to set forth how the consultation process will be set out; this will give an opportunity for any concerns to be raised along with a procedure on how these concerns will be answered.

As Jeff has pointed out the consultation cannot be completed on this forum and it would inappropriate for such questions to be raised in this way. If you have any concerns/queries that you wish to raise I would advise you to wait until next week when we can give you further details on the consultation and the process behind raising such issues.

As Nikki has pointed out the consultation process will provide a suitable forum for discussing these things and Bristol Scrapstore & ScrapstoresUK will set out the plan for replying to such concerns in due course.

Thanks Everyone

Kind Regards
Jonathan

Following a meeting between Children's Scrapstore Bristol and ScrapstoresUK on Monday 12 November, we have agreed the following consultation process:

Phase 1
The scrapstores within proximity of the proposed location will have a briefing presentation from Childrens Scrapstore which outlines the project and sets forth scope for how the primary group (BPCN, Wolverhampton and WRE) and the secondary group (WEAVE, Community Scrap Shack, Scrappies, Lichfield Scrap Barn and Derby Park) could dovetail with the new facility including the scrapstore and Play Pods warehouse.

Phase 2
Following the briefing sessions from Childrens Scrapstore Bristol these scrapstores will be invited to feed into a quantative and qualitative consultation process where they can raise any questions and identify their current number of; members, suppliers and beneficiaries; in writing.

Phase 3
These forms are to be returned to scrapstoresUK to be reviewed jointly with Childrens Scrapstores Bristol prior to individual meetings between the scrapstores and Childrens Scrapstores Bristol. ScrapstoresUK is happy to attend these meetings as an impartial aid to the consultation process.

Additional Comments
The hitherto National Warehouse will be a central sourcing hub for Play Pods and in order to avoid and confusion will no longer be referred to as a National Warehouse or Distribution centre to avoid any confusion as to it’s purpose.

If you have questions about the consultation process please email the scrapstoresUK National Coordinator - Nikki DiGiovanni ( This email address is being protected from spambots. Kind Regards
